in preparation of the our Lord going up to Our Father, and the coming of the Holy Spirit it is God to remember that Christ is passing by and even closer than usual, not wanting to go but stay with us and love us.  The same way he stayed near his apostles and His mother, keeping them company, comforting them and giving them strength to carry on his work on Earth, it's time to talk to him more and keeping close to Him asking for help and telling Him all our joys and sorrow.
